I must be the mother of teenage/pre-teen kids since family photos currently include a requisite "Sorority Squat" shot:-)
My message for today's post is simple.
It's one of gratitude. I want to sincerely thank you for being here with me. I am deeply humbled by the many women around the world who read my words and watch my videos. The process of building an online community is amazing and I'm thrilled to be a part of it.
I'm forever grateful to each of you. I created this space for you and it's a joy for me to be here. Thank you.
I'm writing this on the day I turn 50. I know that if you're already 50, you fully understand the magnitude of reaching the day that marks your half century on the planet. It's big.
Today, I am humbled. Blessed and beyond thankful for so much.
My husband secretly invited my nuclear/childhood family (mother, father and sister) to travel by air to surprise me on the eve of my 50th birthday.
Speechless and stunned. Crying and overwhelmed. I stood in my living room surrounded by the people I care about most.
50 simply feels like an incredibly long time to be loved.
I'll be taking some time away from The Together Act to spend the holidays with my family. I will also be working on a few exciting projects...
The plan is for these challenging personal and professional endeavors to allow me to refresh my outlook and create a bunch of new content.
Thanks for your patience...I'll be back by mid-January to share what I've been up to during the break.
