It's Day 31! Well, it's actually Day 32. Yesterday was Halloween and a post just didn't fit. But I wanted to be sure to finish this challenge.
So here it is... the final day of 31 Days - A Writing Challenge. It's been so fun for me to relive some super experiences here with you. Thank you for taking the time to come along on my journey.

A little over two years ago, my family made our first trip to Colorado.
At the time we were full-on East Coasters.
We rented a house in Boulder and visited with some friends. After a week in Boulder, we packed up our rented minivan and headed to Park City, Utah to see some more friends. Prior to our trip, my husband had been to both Boulder and Park City. For the rest of us...this was brand new territory. As a self proclaimed 'beach girl', I was going along for the adventure...but certainly was never going to fall in love with the west.
Never say never.
We all loved Boulder.... enough to move there two years later. And, Park City was super fun to visit.
What we didn't expect was the supreme majesty of the seven hour trek. My family has done road trips for years. Philadelphia to New Hampshire. Philadelphia to OBX. Northern California to Southern California. We are good on car drives. We enjoy them.
Our car trips usually involve a movie or two for our kids. Great tunes. Lots of snacks. Decent highway scenery. Some napping. All the good stuff.
This drive was different.
We were all spellbound by the views.
At one point my then nine year old son exclaimed, "How is this even possible?"
How. Is. This. Even. Possible.
Our planet is an amazing place. I've seen enough of it to know that, but I definitely haven't seen enough of it. The past 31 days have made my destination wish list even longer. I'm not sure where my next adventure will take place. But I know that I am ready!
Thank you for reading. More next week.
